I was doing it again; obsessing over the end of a relationship that everyone said wasnt meant to be. It had been a century, or was it just 90 years? Either way it had been so long it just shouldnt matter. Why am I forever blaming myself? Where should I place the fault if not on me?
I began to run through the woods at top speed, my body not aching at all from the minimal effort I was expending. Trees blew by in blurs, but I still noticed every detail.
